I must have had a dream, because I was about to write this post and it looks as if the theme has changed. Could this be the first signs of me getting old?

The basis of the post in my head was that it was another great theme using Joomla rather than an extension or two to make the site look good and functional - the same could be said for this theme, but it is different to the one I had in my head. I could just be going mad.

Every month there are four or five very good themes for Joomla released and I've written before that sometimes you stop looking at just the theme and look at the extras you get with it.

I sometimes like to get 'just' the theme and if you remember there was one of those last month, but this month, even though this new one from RocketTheme looks lovely - it is one of the extras that has really gotten me interested.

Possibly the biggest challenge theme providers face today is keeping the customer happy and coming back for more. Joomla, as a CMS is fantastic, but there are only so many modules and extensions you can use on a single page, so it is about the extras.

Sometimes though, a theme provider gets it right with a theme again and when I first saw this one from Shape 5, it made me happy, because I wasn't interested in the features it had, the design just worked.

It is that time of the month again. New themes land on my desk and I get to have a little look. When I first saw this one, even though I knew it was RocketTheme, I didn't think it was. I like the surprises I keep getting from these guys.

This is not your typical content theme - what Joomla is good at. No, this one is all about RocketTheme and very specifically RokGallery - the lovely, even if a little consuming to get the hang off (I should read the forums more, I know) extension, that has me seriously interested in throwing galleries back on my personal site.
