Joomla Equipment have released a component called JContentSubscription which is a complete solution for subscription based websites.

The component is very flexible and easy to understand with online payment processing, it allows to bind subscription to users or bind it to particular article or whole category of the website.

In new release, there have introduced a few new features. First is an ability to grant any free subscription on registration. You can also grant subscriptions to already registered users and you've also got the ability to set static content page as a welcome page.
