It sounds like a name from a science fiction film from the 80's but it isn't. It is the new theme from those very splendid chaps over at RocketTheme and it comes, as expected, with something new.

The new thing this month is an extension and it is called RokFeatureTable and if you are a host - you might like this. It very nicely displays a product or service with a number of variables.

I like green things; money and grass are two things that spring to mind and I'm a big fan of Joomla themes too and the new theme from Joomla Bamboo is aimed at that type of website. When it comes to my office and my website though, I'm not green and whenever I see that little mark at the bottom of the email saying 'think before you print', I print.

Joomla Bamboo say it best when talking about this new theme, so I'm going to quote them. It feels appropriate.

JoomlaPraise have released Ascension, a theme for Joomla and K2 and it just keeps getting better and better.

This theme has 33 module positions, doesn't really look like a Joomla theme and when you've finished playing, your site won't look like a Joomla site either - not that there is anything wrong with Joomla, but it is much easier these days to make a site look like it isn't running a content management system.

Shape 5 have released a new theme and it is nice. It is nice because, well, it is a Joomla theme and sort of that is all it is.

Don't get me wrong, that isn't a bad thing. I think it is a good thing - sometimes, you just want a theme to make Joomla work and look good and this theme does it. It really does.

It isn't just the module positions or the rotating backgrounds - it is the design and functionality.

The new buzz in the Joomla theme world is Tienda and this month we have another one from RocketTheme that follows up the one from last month - but this one has even more.

You get all the goodies you normally get with a RocketTheme theme but this month they have also added MegaMenu - gone are the days when you just list items in a menu that link to another page.

Tienda is very quickly becoming very popular and when that starts to happen theme developers take note and theme developers release themes.

This new one from JoomlaPraise also isn't their first. They released the Mercado theme earlier this month and there are others, but this new one, Fresa, beats it - although that is just opinion.
