You'll see, if you click on the Joomla news link above, that I don't usually post about none theme news, but I do occasionally and today is one of those days.
Joomla Builder offer a service where you can pick from a huge range of components, modules, plugins and themes.
Why is this something you should visit? Well, if you know what you exactly what you want you can pay $1, get a 24 hour code and download Joomla with everything on it you want and install it just as you would normally install Joomla.
If you are an experienced Joomla user it might not save you time, but it will save you time and in the same breath, if you're an experienced Joomla user - why are you spending an hour installing all these extensions if you can do it with this for a dollar?
These guys are also professionals so you're not getting every extension you can download from the JDE, you're getting the extensions that work, have been tested and are secure. Sort of makes you feel a little more confident about installing something when you know it's been tested first.
It's a nice little extra for Joomla and well worth checking out. They're also quite new, so don't be surprised to see the number of extensions increase in time and while they might have this already, it might also be nice if a newsletter is sent out when updates to extensions are available, so you can keep your install up to date.
If it does take off, we might also see commercial extensions getting added to this list if deals can be done. One to look out for, me thinks, it's going to go one of two ways.
