Shape 5 have released a new theme with a new module which might make you look up, if you don't want to be dealing with a full on reservation system.
The module allows visitors to send inquires or booking requests based on a property or room. Ideal if you don't have a 300 bed hotel and don't take many bookings. A lot less hassle too which is something that has to be factored in when putting a website together.
But, the theme doesn't have to be used for that. It looks nice all by itself and could be used for pretty much anything. The only thing stopping you using this theme is your imagination.
