Beauty in Design have released a 'really' new template for Joomla, called Joomla OS.
The template creates the desktop experience on the web allowing the visitor to open/close windows, move windows and lot's more.
The template is only available to members of Beauty in Design but it's well worth signing up if all the other templates are like this.
Some of the main features of the template are; Joomla 1.0.x compliant, draggable/resizable windows, AJAX integration for custom links without page loads, effects such as live font re-size, opacity and window resize, tested in Firefox and Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and all effects are powered by mootools.
Like I said, you have to see it to believe it.
